Tottenham Hotspur travel to the west of the capital to face London rivals Chelsea in the final four of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.

Antonio Conte oversaw Tottenham's 2-1 victory at home to West Ham United in the competition's quarter-finals before Christmas, beating the same club that knocked his Chelsea side out of the League Cup during his first season in English football in 2016.

Here's the XI Conte may deploy to get one over on his former employers.

Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup vs Chelsea - Carabao Cup

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - If Tottenham's captain features in every remaining game this season (and the club enjoy a moderate cup run), Lloris can crack the top ten appearance list in the club's history this term.

Davinson Sanchez (CB) - In the space of six matches, Sanchez has scored as many goals (two) as he netted in his previous 92 outings for the club.

Eric Dier (CB) - Tottenham's only Premier League ever-present this season only featured in his first League Cup game of the campaign in the previous round.

Ben Davies (CB) - The Wales international won England's secondary cup at the first attempt with Swansea City in 2013, and didn't lose any of his first 11 appearances in the competition.

2. Midfielders & wingbacks

Matt Doherty (RWB) - Just as he was under Conte's predecessor, Doherty has swiftly emerged as a second-choice option, but may be used for the cause of rotation following a hectic schedule.

Harry Winks (CM) - After barely an hour of domestic football in the opening three months of the season, Winks has shown flashes of recovering his best form in what remain pockmarked appearances.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (CM) - A winner of two domestic cups with Bayern Munich, the Denmark international started the second victorious show piece over Borussia Dortmund in 2014.

Dele Alli (CM) - Conte stressed that the 'door is open' for Tottenham's mercurial 25-year-old upon his arrival in north London, but has been rewarded with mixed displays.

Sergio Reguilon (LWB) - The former Real Madrid full-back made a memorable Tottenham debut - for reasons good and bad - against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup last season.

3. Forwards

Son Heung-min (ST) - For fear of overplaying Tottenham's joint-top scorer this season, Son hasn't started a Carabao Cup clash since last season's unsuccessful final - an anomaly that will surely change this Wednesday.

Harry Kane (ST) - The only player to start all 11 games for Tottenham under Conte can scarcely be left out just as he is beginning to click back into form.
