Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has urged his former side to make a double move in the upcoming summer transfer window for Wolves' attacking duo Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore

Both players have been in sparkling form for Nuno Espirito Santo's side this season, combining together with devastating effect to guide Wolves towards a consecutive European finish this season.

Traore in particular has garnered admiration from across Europe, grabbing 12 assists and six goals in all competitions, thus prompting rumours of a potential switch to Liverpool in the summer. Collymore, who played at Anfield for two years, has called on the Reds to make a deal happen, alongside Mexican striker Jimenez.

“Liverpool should have two Wolves players on their shopping lists this summer – Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore," he told the Mirror, via Birmingham Mail.

“Traore is the obvious one but Jimenez has settled into the Premier League like a duck to water. He’s great in the box, attacks crosses exceptionally well, links play and is an all-round eight out of ten in the art of striking. He could provide real competition for Bobby Firmino at Anfield.”

Back in January, 90min revealed that three clubs - including Liverpool - were interested in Traore, however, Wolves slapped a hefty £70m price tag on his head and insisted they wouldn't sell for any less than that amount.

Wolves are understandably interested in selling the pacy forward, as the club bid for European glory this season, and the next. Their loss to Sheffield United on Wednesday was a huge setback, but they still remain in this season's Europa League and still have to face Olympiacos for the second leg of their round of 16 tie - after a 1-1 draw in Greece.
