Manchester United travel to west London to face Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The Red Devils make the trip to Stamford Bridge buoyed by a convincing victory against Tottenham in midweek and a stellar record in SW6. Manchester United are unbeaten in their last six visits to Chelsea's home ground, their longest such run at that particular stadium in the 21st century (United strung together eight lossless trips to Stamford Bridge between 1994 and 1999).

Here's the XI Erik ten Hag may deploy to extend his side's success in west London.

1. Manchester United XI (4-2-3-1)

GK: David De Gea - With 500 appearances for Manchester United under De Gea's belt, Alex Stepney is the only goalkeeper to have patrolled the posts more often.

RB: Diogo Dalot - The maturing right-back is the only outfield player to have started every match across all competitions for Manchester United this season.

CB: Raphael Varane - The Frenchman has the best personal goal difference of any Manchester United player this term - while Varane has been on the pitch, the Red Devils have scored nine Premier League goals and conceded just five (per FBref).

CB: Lisandro Martinez - After a sticky start to life at Old Trafford, Martinez admitted: "It was very emotional for me to receive that love from the fans," in the wake of the midweek victory against Spurs.

LB: Luke Shaw - The boyhood Chelsea fan grew up idolising Ashley Cole.

CM: Casemiro - The former Real Madrid midfielder revelled in a 3-1 Champions League quarter-final victory on his last visit to Stamford Bridge.

CM: Christian Eriksen - If the Dane is deemed fit enough to appear from the start, there is little doubt Ten Hag would risk lining up without a player who "proved from the first day how important he is to our game".

AM: Bruno Fernandes - Virginia Borges jokes that she knew her son Bruno would be a footballer because he was “kicking all the time” during her pregnancy.

RW: Antony - Manchester United's second-most expensive player of all time is renting the house owned by the player that tops that particular list, Paul Pogba. Although, Antony is yet to get rid of the "PP" insignia littered around the mansion.

ST: Marcus Rashford - The most recent direct free-kick goal Rashford has scored was a vicious swerving effort at Stamford Bridge - though that came all the way back in October 2019.

LW: Jadon Sancho - The south London native is another Chelsea fan among Manchester United's ranks.
