Manchester United lads and good mates Scott McTominay and Daniel James have had a wee catchup for the latest instalment of adidas' 'The Huddle' series, with fans invited to eavesdrop.

The pair of youngsters have grown close since James made the switch to Old Trafford last summer, with the Welshman enjoying a decent debut season and McTominay excelling in his breakthrough campaign.

The mates cover a number of topics in the video chat, their current training routines during lockdown, preparing to potentially return to the pitch in June and how the Manchester club is using GPS tech to keep an eye on them.

McTominay and James also talk expectation at United, and reveal the club is gearing up for a title push next season.

Things also get more personal as McTominay reflects on the injury that threatened to derail his best season yet in a United shirt, while Dan James looked back on a first term where he has probably been played far more than even he expected after making the huge step up from the Championship.

adidas have been busy during lockdown.

Via their #hometeam collection, they have connected the world’s creators and athletes from their living rooms, gardens and bedrooms around the world.
