Manchester United have got a couple of injuries and a suspension to contend with when they take on Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, but many of Erik ten Hag's most dangerous stars are expected to start the game.

With eight games to play in February, Ten Hag has had to balance his squad carefully. He has not needed to rest Casemiro due to the Brazilian serving a three-match suspension. This Leicester match is the final game of the suspension, but Anthony Martial and Antony are set to miss out through injury once again.

With Marcel Sabitzer and Lisandro Martinez back from European suspension, here is the team Ten Hag may call upon to keep Man Utd in the title race.

GK: David De Gea - The Spanish goalkeeper is regularly the subject of contract rumours but he is in good form right now. He has his limitations in the modern game, but Ten Hag seems happy with De Gea.

RB: Diogo Dalot - Given the fitness concerns of Dalot in recent weeks and the fact that Aaron Wan-Bissaka started against Barcelona, it seems likely Dalot will come back in for what should be a more attack-minded performance.

CB: Lisandro Martinez - Having missed the Barcelona game through suspension, Martinez will be fresh and raring to go for this one. He will relish the battle against a talented striker like Kelechi Iheanacho.

CB: Raphael Varane - Some feel that Ten Hag will rest Varane here for the next leg against Barcelona, but he does not often rotate his squad and Varane is not showing serious signs of tiring.

LB: Luke Shaw - He filled in superbly at centre-back again on Thursday but expect Shaw to go back to his natural role for the visit of Leicester.

CM: Fred - Tasked once again with replacing Casemiro, Fred has been doing a solid job in the absence of his fellow Brazilian. His energy and tackling are crucial, even if he cannot run a game in the same way Casemiro does.

CM: Marcel Sabitzer - Having missed the Barcelona game through suspension, Sabitzer will continue to build his form with United as he seeks to earn a permanent move in the summer from Bayern Munich.

RW: Jadon Sancho - There is a chance that Ten Hag could bring Alejandro Garnacho in here, but Sancho was dangerous against against Barcelona and he seems to have become a project player for the Dutch coach.

AM: Bruno Fernandes - The Portuguese midfielder is the sort who doesn't seem to ever want a rest and just keeps on sprinting. He was lively against Barcelona and will be key again on Sunday.

LW: Marcus Rashford - He netted yet again against Barcelona and there is no chance Ten Hag will be disrupting Rashford's momentum. He knows he is on course for his best-ever goalscoring season and is playing like a man possessed.

ST: Wout Weghorst - The goals may not be flowing for Weghorst but his movement frees up a lot of space for Fernandes, Rashford and Sancho.
