Juventus travel north to face Hellas Verona, led by the familiar figure of the former Bianconeri player and assistant manager Igor Tudor, on Saturday afternoon.

Massimiliano Allegri's side had a nine-game unbeaten run unceremoniously halted by a 95th-minute winner from Sassuolo's Maxime Lopez on Wednesday evening. Allegri repeatedly cited the 'mentality' of his 'frantic' side as the cause of their defeat, but may need to pinpoint more tangible concerns if he is going to even begin to overhaul the 13 point chasm up to first place.

Here's the latest XI Allegri may call upon to begin that unlikely reeling in process.

Juventus predicted lineup vs Hellas Verona - Serie A

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Wojciech Szczesny (GK) - Watched his understudy get dinked in the final seconds against Sassuolo as part of Allegri's unorthodox approach of occasionally resting his undisputed number one.

Danilo (RB) - When describing his former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, Danilo joked to La Repubblica: "I think at home, in the evening, he puts his wife on the couch as if she were a player on the pitch!" His current boss may not be as obsessive but has selected the Brazilian far more frequently so far.

Leonardo Bonucci (CB) - Juve's centre-back has been quick to laud the importance of a team's ability and willingness to 'suffer' recently - Sassuolo certainly held up their end of the bargain to at least satisfy Bonucci's demands.

Giorgio Chiellini (CB) - At 37 years young, Chiellini can't start a game every three days, but may well swap in for his relay partner Matthijs de Ligt after sitting out on Wednesday.

Alex Sandro (LB) - Following the injury to a teary Mattia De Sciglio in midweek, Sandro's position as the starting full back is a near certainty.

2. Midfielders

Juan Cuadrado (RM) - Never one to shirk the opportunity to heave a cross into the box, Juve's Colombia international is yet to create a goal this term - having laid on 17 across all competitions last season.

Arthur (CM) - Largely considered the byproduct of some very creative accounting up until now, Allegri has been tentatively easing the 25-year-old into the fold and may take Wednesday's loss as a chance to shake up his stodgy midfield.

Weston McKennie (CM) - As the scorer of Juve's equaliser against Sassuolo, McKennie was singled out for praise by his manager, who has challenged the US international to score more goals since the start of the season.

Federico Chiesa (LM) - Shunted around the pitch with dizzying regularity, Chiesa hasn't yet been able to replicate the output of his impressive debut campaign.

3. Forwards

Paulo Dybala (ST) - Despite missing an unhealthy chunk of the campaign already, six of Juve's 14 Serie A goals have either been scored or created by their jewel up front.

Alvaro Morata (ST) - Without a goal in his last six appearances, the likely unavailability of Moise Kean and Federico Bernardeschi may well provide Morata with another starting berth to end his drought.
