Italy are through to the last 16 of Euro 2020. Wales - barring some incredible turn of events that sees Switzerland hammer Turkey, and four other third place teams manage four points - are also through to the last 16 of Euro 2020.

So the final game in Group A looks like a dead rubber in the best way imaginable for both teams.

Neither will want to let the momentum slip, however, and both will want to make sure they are advancing in the strongest way possible as group winners.

Italy team news

It doesn't look as if Giorgio Chiellini will be risked after he picked up an injury in their win over Switzerland. Lazio's Francesco Acerbi looks a capable deputy though.

It remains to be seen who Italy will start out wide, but with qualification secure, Federico Chiesa may be given his first start of the tournament ahead of Domenico Berardi or Lorenzo Insigne.

Andrea Belotti may also be hoping for a start, as will the emerging Giacomo Raspadori, but dropping Ciro Immobile may be a risky game considering the form he's in.

Wales team news

Kieffer Moore has done a hell of a job in Wales' first couple of games but Rob Page may also look to rotate, with his side essentially secure of a place in the last 16. That could be good news for Liverpool's Harry Wilson who was thriving in a false nine role before the tournament started.

Aaron Ramsey might also make way after Page admitted to managing his fitness closely. He's played pretty much all of their last two games, so Ethan Ampadu, Jonathan Williams or Tyler Roberts could come in to get some minutes.

A switch to five at the back could also see Neco Williams come into the side from the start.

Our 21 - One to Watch

He may not start with Ciro Immobile and Andrea Belotti ahead of him in the pecking order, but Sassuolo youngster Giacomo Raspadori will be hoping for some minutes in this one. The 21-year-old offers something different to the other strikers and if Italy find themselves needing a goal, he could be in line for a second international cap.

Italy and Wales actually haven't played each other for 18 years, and you probably won't be surprised to hear the Azzurri have a superior head-to-head record.

They've won seven of the nine meetings between the pair, the last of which was a thumping 4-0 win back in qualifying for Euro 2004. Filippo Inzaghi scored a quick-fire hat-trick, with Alessandro del Piero adding gloss to the scoreline from the penalty spot.

The final game in the group, when both teams are through, can often be hard to predict. Italy will make a few changes, but you would still think they have enough about them to get the better of Wales.

Page's team will be up for it, like they always are, but they've done the hard work already to make it to the last 16 - probably as runners up to Italy.
