Sean Dyche has been lumbered with a swollen glut of injuries. Seamus Coleman and Dele Alli have no chance of featuring while doubts linger over summer arrivals Youssef Chermiti and Jack Harrison.
Lewis Dobbin and Michael Keane are both carrying knocks. Andre Gomes is still an Everton player (for now) but has a calf problem. However, centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite is expected to be fit despite pulling out of England Under-21 duty with a groin issue.

The Toffees may have only scored their first league goals of the season against Sheffield United ahead of the international break but Dyche has seen his side rattle off 24 shots on target - more than 15 Premier League teams, including Arsenal.
Arteta spent six and a half years as a player at Goodison Park but has a wretched managerial record against his former employers. Only Manchester City (eight) and Liverpool (five) have beaten Arteta's Arsenal more often than Everton (four). The Gunners have lost all three visits to the blue half of Merseyside under Arteta, including a galling 1-0 reverse on Dyche's debut last February.
Despite their specific struggles against the Toffees, Arsenal have been impressive travellers in recent months; since the start of last season, no team can better their 11 away clean sheets.
