Freshly crowned Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain travel to Signal Iduna Park for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Despite being held by Le Havre on Saturday, Monaco's defeat at Lyon the following day saw PSG win their 12th Ligue 1 title and tenth since 2012/13.

Qatar's financial might has evolved Les Parisiens into France's supreme footballing force, but their ultimate goal of European glory has continued to elude them. However, they've got a great shot at continental success this season having made the most of a Catalonian collapse in the Champions League quarter-finals.

PSG overcame a first leg deficit to bypass Barcelona in the last eight, setting up a semi-final tie with Borussia Dortmund. It's a two-legged affair they're favoured for, but their performance away from home will be key.

Here's how Luis Enrique could set his side up for Wednesday's trip to Dortmund.

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - There have been some mishaps, but Donnarumma has generally enjoyed a fine season between the PSG posts. The Italian will be tested in Dortmund.

RB: Achraf Hakimi - Hakimi takes on his former club on the big occasion. His defensive prowess and recovery pace will be put to the test against the lightning-quick Karim Adeyemi.

CB: Marquinhos - PSG's record appearance-maker has just won his ninth Ligue 1 title. Can he add a Champions League trophy to his cabinet?

CB: Lucas Hernandez - Hernandez partnered Marquinhos in Barcelona and we should see Enrique retain the right-foot/left-foot dynamic on Wednesday. The Frenchman has an important role to play in bypassing Dortmund's press.

LB: Nuno Mendes - The young left-back has been so impressive since returning from a long-term injury, and he was excellent across the two legs against Barcelona. He adds another string to PSG's bow going forward.

CM: Vitinha - Another stellar quarter-final performer, the world is beginning to recognise Vitinha's brilliance and a couple more standout performances under the bright lights will see his stock continue to rise.

CM: Fabian Ruiz - Enrique is a huge fan of his compatriot, with Fabian showcasing his ability not only to control matches in the middle of the park, but offer a source of penetration with his surges in behind, too.

CM: Warren Zaire-Emery - The teenager saved PSG's Champions League campaign by scoring at Signal Iduna Park on matchday six of the group stages.

RW: Ousmane Dembele - There might not be a footballer Enrique currently adores more than Dembele, who thrived against Barcelona and is beginning to produce in the final third consistently for PSG.

ST: Kylian Mbappe - Often appearing isolated when shunted wide left, Mbappe has a greater chance of success in a central position. The Frenchman scored twice against Barcelona in the second leg of PSG's quarter-final tie.

LW: Bradley Barcola - Barcola is a serious talent who helped turned the tide in the quarter-final. The Frenchman can be used across the frontline, but he's had recent success when deployed down the left.
