Pedro Neto bagged a last-minute winner as Wolves inflicted a second consecutive Premier League defeat on Chelsea at Molineux on the Tuesday evening.

The first half of this one is probably best described as cagey. Neither side started brightly, and it took about a quarter of an hour for any sort of tempo to develop. Wolves failed to get a grip on the play and never looked like worrying Chelsea's back line too much, while the Blues' main threat was their left hand side, as Ben Chilwell, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic formed a sharp and dangerous triangle which pressured the hosts' defence for large parts. However, neither goalmouth saw much action until the final minute of the half, as a very unlucky Kurt Zouma's towering header hit the bar from a corner.

The game came to life in the second half. A sharp Olivier Giroud strike gave the visitors the lead within five minutes of the restart as Chelsea continued to thrive down the left of the pitch. However, after a disallowed Fabio Silva goal, Wolves picked up some momentum and started to take the game to their opposition. Daniel Podence started to dictate the game and the Portuguese playmaker eventually found the net brilliantly to equalise in the 65th minute.

With the game opening up, it was either side's to win - or lose. While Chelsea looked the likely team to snatch a win late on, Wolves relied on pace and clinical finishing as Pedro Neto bagged a last gasp winner to seal a 2-1 win for the hosts.

Now, to the ratings.

Wolves

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Rui Patricio (GK) - 6/10 - The goalkeeper was rarely called upon but seemed safe enough when the ball came his way. He might be disappointed with the goal he let in, but Giroud's strike came at him like a flash.

Willy Boly (CB) - 6/10 - A decent performance from the defender. Didn't do much wrong but occasionally struggled to handle Chelsea's left flank.

Conor Coady (CB) - 6/10 - A solid display from the skipper who distributed the ball well and, in the first 45, marshalled Giroud to perfection.

Romain Saiss (CB) - 6/10 - Well, it's hard to remember anything significant the defender did during the game. But a quiet one is a good one for a centre back, right?

2. Wing Backs & Midfielders

Nelson Semedo (RWB) - 7/10 - A strong performance from the wing back. No player made more tackles (5), while he also managed two shots and four dribbles.

Ruben Neves (CM) - 6/10 - The Portuguese international lacked tempo when moving the ball at times, but still made more passes than anyone else on the pitch (77).

Leander Dendoncker (CM) - 4/10 - You'd be forgiven for forgetting his presence on the pitch. The midfielder didn't look right as he failed to get around the field, barely touched the ball and had little to no impact whatsoever.

Daniel Podence (CAM) - 9/10 - Was no doubt the host's standout man. Looked energetic throughout and eventually managed to impact the match in the second half. Picked out pockets of space constantly, and equalised for his side with a brilliantly taken goal.

Marcal (LWB) - 5/10 - Got on the ball a lot, especially in the first half, but really didn't use it to great effect.

3. Forwards

Pedro Neto (ST) - 8/10 - Had a quiet first half but became the player of the second half. A penalty was overturned by VAR after the forward was spotted to have dived in the box, while his late winner made him hero/villain of the night.

Fabio Silva (ST) - 6/10 - Has undeniable quality, and showed it with his spatial awareness and little touches on the ball. The 18-year old was unlucky as he still awaits his first Premier League goal, having had one ruled out for offside.

4. Substitutes

Owen Otasowie (CM) - 6/10 - The young America international bagged an assist on his Premier League debut.

Adama Traore (ST) - 6/10 - Despite picking up a niggle to his knee just five minutes after his entry, the Spanish international added much needed spark to the game.

Vitinha (CM) - N/A

5. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Edouard Mendy (GK) - 5/10 - The Chelsea goalkeeper might have done better for Wolves' deflected first goal.

Reece James (RB) - 6/10 - A quiet game for the Englishman. Most of his side's attacking play went down the opposite flank. However, he looked solid in defence.

Kurt Zouma (CB) - 7/10 - Was extremely unlucky not to net his fifth Premier League goal of the campaign. Defended perfectly for the most part, visibly learning from his partner.

Thiago Silva (CB) - 6/10 - Another solid performance from the Brazilian, but couldn't quite prevent the Wolves counter attack to see his side through.

Ben Chilwell (LB) - 8/10 - Was a real threat going forward and delivered quality consistently. The full back handled Semedo well and was relatively untroubled in defensive work, while picking up the assist.

6. Midfielders

Kai Havertz (CM) - 5/10 - Found pockets of space really well, but looked off the pace when he was on the ball, as he couldn't find an end product.

N'Golo Kante (CM) - 7/10 - Another largely understated and efficient defensive performance from the Frenchman, but will be disappointed not to have covered the counter attack that snatched all three points for the hosts.

Mason Mount (CM) - 7/10 - Was a threat for Chelsea. Found a way to run in behind and deliver quality into the area several times.

7. Forwards

Timo Werner (RW) - 4/10 - Another relatively quiet outing for the German, despite taking three shots. He had a good ten-minute period at the start of the second period, but failed to make the difference.

Olivier Giroud (ST) - 6/10 - Finished fantastically to put Chelsea ahead, but looked isolated at times and had to drop deep to get involved.

Christian Pulisic (LW) - 8/10 - Played fantastically well and was unlucky to be on the losing side. Put in an 'Hazardesque' display.
