It's been tough going for much of the season but it looks like Manchester City finally have a hand on the Premier League title.

The recent victory at Goodison Park over Everton extended their winning streak to 11. It's the sort of run that ensured they held off Liverpool during the 2018/19 and 2021/22 seasons and they now seem destined to pip Arsenal to the Premier League title in 2023.

Brighton's emphatic victory over the Gunners means City have one hand on their third successive league title and their fifth in six years. If all goes to plan for Pep Guardiola, Citizens fans will be out in the streets celebrating yet another league title very soon.

Here's what we know about their plans so far.

When can Man City win the Premier League title?

Sunday's results have left City on the brink. One more victory will guarantee them the 2022/23 Premier League title.

Thus, the Citizens will be crowned champions should they beat Chelsea at the Etihad on Sunday, or if Arsenal are beaten at the City Ground by Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

City's superior goal difference at the summit means two points from their final three games should be enough, but it's surely not going to come to that.

How to watch Man City's title celebrations

If all goes to plan, City will be lifting the Premier League title at the Etihad on Sunday after their tussle with Frank Lampard's Blues. Otherwise, their celebrations will be put on hold until the final day of the season away at Brentford even if they beat Brighton at the Amex next Thursday.

Those broadcasting Sunday's game between City and Chelsea will almost certainly extend their stream to show Ilkay Gundogan lifting the Premier League title aloft. The club may also stream the celebrations on their official YouTube channel.

Sunday's kick-off is 16:00 (BST), so it should end at approximately 17:50. If there's a celebration to be had, expect a delay before the title is officially in Gundogan's hands. It's hard to give an exact time for when City's title celebrations will begin, but they certainly won't be too long after the full-time whistle.

Have Man City already planned a trophy parade?

Man City may end the season by securing a historic treble, and while one piece of silverware has been all but guaranteed, there are absolutely no parade plans in place just yet.

The Champions League final, should they progress at Real Madrid's expense, isn't until 10 June.

City have enjoyed their fair share of parades in recent years, and the addition of Jack Grealish brought about plenty of entertainment at last year's title party in Manchester.

The slightly intoxicated Brummie was in good form as City paraded on an open-top bus through Deansgate. Grealish was filmed slapping Phil Foden with an inflatable banana, and he was quick to chirp Bernardo Silva when he got on the mic.

The £100m arrival said Bernardo was "miles off it" during City's dramatic 3-2 win over Aston Villa on the final day which clinched them the title. The Portugal international, who was brought off after 70 minutes with City 2-0 down, quipped "Keep Jack Grealish on the f***ing bench" in response. Good-hearted fun.

It was some party in 2022 with Pep Guardiola back on the cigars; perhaps he'll enjoy another or two should his side wrap up the treble in June.
