Reassuringly for fans of West Ham and Brazil's national team, David Moyes revealed that Lucas Paqueta's shoulder injury is not "as serious as first feared."

The Hammers manager admitted that both Maxwel Cornet and Craig Dawson "have a chance" of featuring - although Monday night's game may "come a bit quick" for the former.

Long-term absentee Nayef Aguerd remains on schedule for his return next month.

West Ham vs Bournemouth score prediction

Just two points separates these clubs after 11 games of the season but Moyes isn't surprised by the narrow margins in the early league table. "There are three or four very good, exceptional teams," he conceded, "but there is not much between the rest of the sides."

West Ham may be able to tip the delicate scale of success in their direction if they can build upon an impressive run of four home wins on the spin.

Bournemouth have been obdurate opponents under the stewardship of former West Ham defender O'Neil, but the Cherries may fall short of his aim to "go there on Monday and make them unhappy".

Prediction: West Ham 2-0 Bournemouth
