Marseille, meanwhile, are excited to be back after their last appearance in the European Cup came behind closed doors during the pandemic - their manager for that campaign was a mutual coach in Andre Villas-Boas.

However, the Italian's patchy continental record can't be ignored, particularly as these games tend to trouble him more so than the ones against Europe's real heavyweights.
Nevertheless, Tottenham are on a roll and have several players capable of changing the game if needed. They should open with a win for just the second time in the Champions League group stage.
