Tottenham host Manchester City on Sunday in a key battle in the race for the WSL's third and final Champions League spot for next season.

Spurs have enjoyed a fantastic campaign and currently only sit outside the European places on goal difference behind Manchester United. City are five points back in fifth place.

City's early season injuries derailed their campaign, but buoyed by the return of key personnel, Gareth Taylor's side stormed to Continental Cup final glory on Saturday. They will move two points behind Spurs with a game in hand should they come out on top on Sunday.

Full-back Ashleigh Neville has been deployed higher up the pitch in recent weeks, and could continue on the wing on Sunday.

Man City team news

Steph Houghton is still sidelined for Manchester City as she continues her recovery following surgery on her Achilles. Chloe Kelly is edging closer to a return to action after rupturing her ACL last May, but City are proceeding with caution given the serious nature of her injury, with Gareth Taylor reluctant to rush her back.

Vicky Losada is 'improving' after suffering an injury during the Manchester derby a fortnight ago, but Taylor revealed Sunday's fixture will likely be too soon for the midfielder.

Tottenham vs Man City score prediction

Tottenham have been phenomenal this season. They boast the WSL's third meanest defence, and this has helped them on their way to a surprise Champions League charge.

However, they couldn't have picked a worse time to play Manchester City, with Gareth Taylor's side nearly back to full strength, looking like their former selves and riding on the wave of last weekend's Continental Cup victory.

Tottenham have been so hard to beat this season - it won't be emphatic, but it will be all three points for City.

Prediction: Tottenham 0-2 Man City
