Tottenham Hotspur host their capital rivals Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Both London clubs have started the season with a glut of encouraging results - collecting 11 and eight points respectively - but by employing tactics that aren't quite as universally popular.

While Spurs are one of the best counter-attacking outfits in the division, they can struggle against obdurate opponents, as West Ham proved in midweek. In a bid to secure survival, Marco Silva has traded Fulham's ball-orientated style in the Championship for a more robust approach, beating Brighton on Wednesday with 40% possession.

Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming meeting between this pair.

Tottenham team news

Oliver Skipp made a welcome return to Tottenham's bench in midweek. The midfielder was almost called upon in the second half but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg appeared to run off the knock he collected before the break.

Cristian Romero joined Skipp in a training session on Tuesday but wasn't included in the squad that travelled to the London Stadium. The Argentine centre-back is nearing a return but Bryan Gil and Lucas Moura are unlikely to feature as they nurse minor issues.

Fulham team news

Silva has been able to keep a largely settled side with just a pair of knee injuries to Harry Wilson and Manor Solomon to contend with. Shane Duffy will once again be available after missing the victory over his parent club Brighton in midweek.

Deadline Day saw left-back Layvin Kurzawa and winger Willian join the club, and both could make it onto the bench.

Fulham predicted lineup vs Tottenham

Tottenham vs Fulham score prediction

Fulham's only defeat of the campaign has been against Tottenham's north London rivals Arsenal. The Gunners overturned a deficit last weekend via a pair of scrappy and somewhat fortuitous goals.

If Tottenham fail to discover a greater level of incision against a set defence, they could need some luck - alongside their devastating threat in transition - to overcome a tricky opponent.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Fulham
