Tottenham team news

Antonio Conte has no injury concerns, with Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero both back in full training. The pair could start here to get some minutes ahead of the next round of Premier League fixtures.

New signing Dejan Kulusevski has been granted a work permit and could make his debut from the bench, though fellow arrival Rodrigo Bentancur may have to wait.

Conte has labelled Pierluigi Gollini as his cup goalkeeper and he may start ahead of club captain Hugo Lloris.

Brighton team news

Yves Bissouma is back in the Brighton fold following his excursions at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Enock Mwepu, Jason Steele and Jeremy Sarmiento are all sidelined, while there are fitness doubts over Moises Caicedo, Alexis Mac Allister and Shane Duffy.

Kjell Scherpen, who played in goal in the last round victory at West Brom, signed for Oostende on loan on deadline day, so Robert Sanchez will continue between the sticks.

Tottenham vs Brighton score prediction

Funnily enough, this will be the first time these two teams have faced off this season, with their Premier League clash in December called off due to Covid-19 cases.

Spurs have won four of their previous six clashes with Brighton, though the Seagulls came out on top in their last encounter thanks to Leandro Trossard's strike in January last year.

Conte's side will be favourites to progress to the fifth round and should pick up a tight victory, though Graham Potter's outfit are enjoying a seven-game unbeaten run and should not be dismissed lightly.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Brighton
