When Jack Grealish capitalised on Yves Bissouma's nutmegging habits to give Manchester City a 3-2 lead, Ange Postecoglou was staring down the barrel of four-straight Premier League defeats.

His decimated side had performed admirably at the Etihad despite riding their luck in the first half, but their improved stability after the restart was set to count for little. But, as is so often the case when City and Tottenham Hotspur face off, there was time for late drama.

Spurs' passing sequence which led to Dejan Kulusevski's 90th-minute equaliser epitomised Ange's Lilywhites, with the Swede's determined header/shoulder ensuring Tottenham stopped the rot.

They'll now head into their midweek clash against London rivals West Ham United full of enthusiasm and hopeful of securing their first home win since 23 October.

Here's how Tottenham could lineup on Thursday night.

GK: Guglielmo Vicario - The Italian has conceded plenty in recent weeks, but he's still been one of the Premier League's most impressive shot-stoppers this season.

RB: Pedro Porro - The full-back's resurgence has almost gone under the radar. After struggling to settle last season, Porro has evolved into a do-it-all defender capable of performing such a complex role to an incredibly high standard.

CB: Cristian Romero - HE'S BACK! Those three games must've felt like an eternity for Tottenham supporters after Romero was dismissed against Chelsea. His return is a huge boost.

CB: Ben Davies - Despite his work for City's second goal, Davies was excellent on Sunday and will keep his place at centre-back.

LB: Destiny Udogie - The Italian was once again forced to walk a tightrope after getting booked in the first half against City. He's a single yellow card away from a one-game suspension.

DM: Yves Bissouma - Despite being far from his best on Sunday, Postecoglou will undoubtedly stick with Bissouma in midweek.

CM: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - The Dane's half-time introduction brought about stability at the Etihad, and while West Ham are a completely different proposition to the Cityzens, Postecoglou will be keen to stop the visitors from having their way in transition.

CM: Giovani Lo Celso - Enjoying his best run in the Tottenham side since the pandemic, Lo Celso has scored in his last two starts.

RW: Dejan Kulusevski - Supporters would love to see Kulusevski continue in a central role, where he's excelled, but he could start wide right on Thursday and match up against Emerson Palmieri.

ST: Son Heung-min - The Spurs skipper haunted City again at the weekend, and his record against West Ham isn't too bad either. Son has scored eight times against the Irons in 17 games.

LW: Brennan Johnson - There's plenty for Postecoglou to work with here. Johnson's supreme pace will give Moyes' backline a lot to consider, and he's already a regular contributor in the final third for the Lilywhites.
