Tottenham Hotspur welcome a relegation-scrapping Norwich City side to north London on Sunday afternoon.

A commanding 2-0 victory at home to freshly promoted Brentford isn't quite a complete remedy to the abject humiliation of losing to Slovenian champions NS Mura - a side that wasn't even founded the last time Spurs won a trophy of any description.

Nevertheless, here's the XI Conte may deploy to help heal those wounds when hosting another team that spent last season in England's second tier.

Tottenham predicted lineup vs Norwich City - Premier League

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - Over the past three seasons Spurs have collected 30% fewer points in the games their number one has missed compared to those he's started.

Davinson Sanchez (CB) - The second-most expensive signing in the history of Tottenham Hotspur now has to prove his worth to the fourth successor of the coach that actually wanted him.

Eric Dier (CB) - The 27-year-old leapt into the stands the last time Spurs hosted Norwich but hurdled the steeply banked rows of chairs too slowly to catch the focus of his ire.

Ben Davies (CB) - As the only left-footed centre back at Conte's disposal, Davies offers a natural option as the wide member of the back three on that flank.

2. Midfielders & wingbacks

Emerson Royal (RWB) - A player who certainly benefitted from his absence during the Europa League Conference debacle may well maintain his Premier League place.

Pierre Emile Hojbjerg (CM) - Since arriving in north London in summer 2020, the Denmark international has missed one Premier League minute out of the 75 and a half hours of available game time.

Oliver Skipp (CM) - Ironically, the playing time Skipp was afforded on loan to Norwich last season is the chief reason why he would be considered for a starting berth in the Tottenham side that lines up against the Canaries on Sunday.

Sergio Reguilon (LWB) - Despite registering just the solitary shot on target, Reguilon can boast as many Premier League goals as Harry Kane this season (one).

3. Forwards

Son Heung-min

Lucas Moura (RW) - Tottenham's chief ferreting outlet hasn't scored with any of his last 24 Premier League shots.

Harry Kane (ST) - The only two Premier League goals Kane has been directly involved in came within 27 first half minutes against the division's most porous side, Newcastle.

Son Heung-min (LW) - Tottenham's top scorer this campaign can only match the tally netted by Norwich's main man for goals - level with Teemu Pukki on five.
