Tottenham will have to overcome a two-goal deficit if they are to make it through to the Carabao Cup final.

They were comfortably bested by Chelsea in the first leg and have since lost star forward Son Heung-min to injury, so manager Antonio Conte will have to conjure up something special if he is to mastermind a comeback.

Here's how he could set up.

Tottenham predicted lineup vs Chelsea - Carabao Cup

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - Spurs' number one is discussing a contract extension and should keep his spot in the squad for a little while longer.

Japhet Tanganga (CB) - Tanganga's future under Conte is uncertain but, with Cristian Romero and Eric Dier both unavailable, he'll likely start here.

Davinson Sanchez (CB) - He's not as good on the ball as Romero and Dier, but Sanchez will have to do.

Ben Davies (CB) - Davies has done a pretty good job at centre-back under Conte but will hope to do better than he fared against Chelsea last time out.

2. Midfielders

Emerson Royal (RM) - He's not been great and is probably getting replaced, but in the short term, Emerson'll probably start.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (CM) - Hojbjerg missed the Morecambe game and it really showed.

Oliver Skipp (CM) - Skipp has been brilliant under Conte and looks set to be one of the stars of the Italian's reign.

Harry Winks (CM) - The surprise hero against Morecambe, Winks deserves a start here.

Sergio Reguilon (LM) - Reguilon missed the first leg and it showed. His threat down the left is needed.

3. Forwards

Harry Kane (ST) - An obvious starter, Kane has been in solid form recently but will need to be back to his best to save Spurs.

Lucas Moura (ST) - Son is unavailable, so Lucas should come in. Don't be surprised if this is Bryan Gil instead.
