Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham have endured a mixed start to 2024, with the Lilywhites failing to win back-to-back Premier League games since Christmas.

Dropped points at Everton was a bitter pill to swallow, but one Spurs deserved to suffer given the pressure they were forced to withstand during the dying embers of the contest.

Still, Ange's squad continues to get healthier and the return of Son Heung-min from international duty will undoubtedly prove a huge boost for the Champions League hopefuls.

Saturday's opponents, Brighton, thumped the Lilywhites 4-2 back in December, meaning Spurs will be out for revenge this weekend. Here's how Postecoglou could set his side up for the Seagulls' visit.

GK: Guglielmo Vicario - Vicario has endured his first blip in a Spurs shirt with his vulnerabilities from set-pieces being pounced upon by Everton in their 2-2 draw.

RB: Pedro Porro - The Spaniard has endured a couple of quiet outings in possession, but he'll take solace in knowing that his Senegalese shield should be back in the XI this weekend.

CB: Cristian Romero - The Argentine must have an image of Seamus Coleman screaming in his face roaring through his mind. Expect a few crunching tackles on Saturday.

CB: Micky van de Ven - This fella can play. Van de Ven was Spurs' best player at Goodison and the hosts will need him to combat Brighton's in-behind threat.

LB: Destiny Udogie - The Italian has produced multiple attacking returns in recent outings and will continue in the side this weekend.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur - The Uruguayan hasn't quite fired since swiftly making his return from an ankle injury. With Yves Bissouma back from AFCON, Bentancur will be keen to impress at the base of midfield.

CM: Pape Matar Sarr - The Senegal international is such an instrumental cog in Tottenham's midfield and Ange won't hesitate in returning Sarr to the team after he appeared off the bench last Saturday.

CM: James Maddison - The Englishman hasn't quite taken command of matches since his return to action, but he's still registered a pair of assists on his previous two starts.

RW: Dejan Kulusevski - The Swede earned a rare bench appearance last time out, struggling to have a positive impact when he entered the fray. He'll be back in the starting XI on Saturday.

ST: Richarlison - Nine goals in as many Premier League games? That's what stepping up in the absence of Spurs' South Korean sharp-shooter looks like.

LW: Timo Werner - Son should be back in the matchday squad on Saturday, but minutes are more likely to arrive off the bench.
