Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed winger Lucas Moura is back in contention for the weekend's north London derby, but Steven Bergwijn remains out.
Moura and Bergwijn have missed Spurs' last two games after both picking up knocks in the Europa Conference League clash with Rennes last week, sitting out the league defeat to Chelsea and penalty shootout victory at Wolves in the EFL Cup.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, Nuno confirmed Lucas was available for selection, while his Dutch teammate remains sidelined with an ankle problem.
"Steven is not OK, [Ryan] Sessegnon also. But the good news is Lucas has joined the group again," Nuno said on Friday.
"The injury he [Bergwijn] has is very painful, so first of all it has to settle down."
Lucas' return will come as a boost to Spurs' already stretched squad as they look to avoid a third league defeat in a row following consecutive 3-0 losses to Crystal Palace and Chelsea.
Nuno made scant changes to his side in midweek as Tottenham were taken to penalties by the manager's former side Wolves at Molineux, following a second-half comeback from the hosts.
The Portuguese coach acknowledged the pressure would be ramped in up what should be an evenly-matched north London derby on Sunday afternoon.
"It's not another game - it's a special game for us, for our fans. It's going to be a tough match, but no doubt it's a different game," he continued.
"I have many, many situations in derbies. But this is a new one, a tough one and a special one for our fans. If it's special for our fans, it's very special for us.
"We expect every player to improve. I think due to the circumstances that we had - pre-season, during the season, international break - there's a lot of space for improvement. But we expect all the players to show all the talent and the quality they have as soon as possible."
