The last ounces of patience are being squeezed out of Tottenham fans as they limp on towards the end of the 2022/23 season.

Spurs followed up their FA Cup exit at Sheffield United with another defeat to Wolves on Saturday afternoon, failing to capitalise on Newcastle's loss at Manchester City.

There is still hope for a somewhat positive end to the campaign, however, with their Champions League fate still in their hands.

Here's what's next up for the north London club.

Tottenham's final hope of ending their trophy drought this season is in the Champions League, but their chances of winning that competition for the first time are hanging by a thread following their 1-0 defeat to AC Milan in the first leg of the tie.

With home advantage though, they'll fancy their chances of turnings things around and making it into the quarter-finals for the first time since 2019.

Tottenham will be looking to banish some demons when they host Nottingham Forest having been knocked out by them in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

They did win when the sides last met in the league though, with a Harry Kane double giving them a comfortable 2-0 victory in August.

It's getting to the point in the season where clubs battling relegation play out of their skin to try and stay up, so Spurs shouldn't expect an easy time of things at St Mary's.

The hosts will surely put up more of a fight than they did back in August, when Dejan Kulusevski got a goal and an assist to lead his side to a 4-1 victory.

Tottenham have enjoyed playing Everton in recent times, winning their last two matches and drawing the two before that, not losing to the Toffees in over two years.

Given the season the Merseyside team is having, ending that unbeaten run would be something of a disaster for Conte's boys.

Tottenham's match with Brighton could well be one of their biggest of the season, with both teams looking to claim the final spot in the top four.

Last time the two sides met in north London, it was the visitors who prevailed courtesy of a last-minute winner from Leandro Trossard.

Conte will be hoping that his side's next match with Bournemouth is less stressful than their last, which was a 3-2 thriller.

Tottenham were the winners that day and will make it four games unbeaten against their opponents if they get the better of them again.
