The winner of the PFA Vertu Motors Premier League Fans' Player of the Month - January

Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez has won the PFA Vertu Motors Premier League Fans' Player of the Month award for January.
The Algerian enjoyed a stellar month for the champions, rediscovering his best form and working his way back into the starting lineup.
Mahrez opened his 2023 account in style. After being named among the substitutes, he came off the bench to score Man City's winner in a 1-0 victory away at Chelsea.
Later in January, Mahrez led Man City's rousing comeback at home to Tottenham. After going into half-time 2-0 down, Julian Alvarez pulled one back for the host before Mahrez assisted an equaliser from Erling Haaland. He then put Man City ahead himself before scoring a clinching goal in stoppage time.
That seemed to spark some life into Pep Guardiola's men, with Mahrez assisting one of Haaland's three goals in their 3-0 win at home to Wolves a few days later.
Mahrez had stiff competition for January's award, but managed to take home 45% of the vote.
Marcus Rashford finished in second place with 21%, while Solly March ranked third with 16%.
Bukayo Saka came fourth with 8%, and Newcastle duo Nick Pope and Dan Burn both took 5% of the overall vote.
