The Liverpool lineup that should start against Manchester United

Liverpool travel to rivals Manchester United on Thursday night for their rearranged Premier League clash.
It's no secret that Jurgen Klopp's men have endured a disappointing season. Following Champions League and Premier League triumphs in the last two campaigns, Liverpool sit sixth in the table this time round and were knocked out of Europe's elite club competition by Real Madrid last month.
However, the Reds are looking stronger in recent weeks, remaining unbeaten in their last six Premier League matches - winning four of those. A 2-0 victory over Southampton last time out leaves them just one point behind fifth-placed West Ham.
A heavily rotated United lost last time out against Leicester, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to recall all of his big guns for this one. Here's how Liverpool should take to the field to combat their threat...
Liverpool predicted lineup
1. Goalkeeper & Defenders
Alisson (GK) - The undisputed number one at Anfield and will certainly start once more against United.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB) - Has had a rocky season but has looked much better of late. Another top performance on Thursday will do wonders for his chances of joining England at the Euros this summer.
Nat Phillips (CB) - With Ozan Kabak ruled out, Phillips is suddenly the leader of a very inexperienced central defensive partnership. Has been superb for the most part this season.
Rhys Williams (CB) - Did very well beside Phillips last time out and, with an extensive injury list showing no signs of improving, Klopp must trust him again here.
Andy Robertson (LB) - Hasn't registered a goal contribution since mid-December but is a hallmark of this Liverpool side.
2. Midfielders
Thiago (CM) - Finally registered his first Liverpool goal against Southampton and will be key for Liverpool in trying to break down Manchester United.
Fabinho (CM) - One of the best anchors in the league and when he is able to fill that role instead of deputising at centre back, the change is significant for Liverpool.
Georginio Wijnaldum (CM) - Has seemed somewhat off the boil recently but thrives in that engine room and could have a key part in bossing midfield areas.
3. Forwards
Mohamed Salah (RW) - His 20 Premier League goals this season speak for themselves, and he could become the first Reds man in 100 years to score away at Old Trafford in two games in the same season.
Roberto Firmino (ST) - After a fairly baron spell, Firmino managed to pick up an assist last time out. Will look to create space for his teammates, against a side that is partial to the odd defensive blunder.
Sadio Mane (LW) - Has not been his most prolific campaign, but he has two goals in his last three matches and will always pose a danger to his opposition. Mane against Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be an enjoyable watch.
