Major League Soccer is heating up.

Players returned from the international break ready to score, and the goals did not disappoint. In the East, Carles Gil stunned New York City FC, while Simon Becher took care of things in the West. But it was Federico Bernardeschi that shocked from coast to coast with the Olympic goal vs. Charlotte FC.

Here's all the action you missed...

5. Simon Becher (vs. CF Montreal)

The Whitecaps made themselves known against rivals CF Montreal with a 5-0 victory. Simon Becher managed two goals in the game, but its his second that stunned for fifth place on our list.

4. Carles Gil (vs. NYCFC)

The MVP is back in full swing. Carles Gil returned to old habits, scoring stunning goals for the Revolution. The game may have caused some controversy, but this goal certainly did not.

3. Aidan Morris (vs. Real Salt Lake)

Aiden Morris is taking Columbus Crew to new heights. After inspiring a record-breaking victory over Atlanta United on matchday 5, he did it again against Real Salt Lake to inspire a 4-0 triumph.

Though he opened up the scoring in the 14th minute, it's his second strike in the second half that earns a place on this list.

2. Fafa Picault (vs. Orlando City)

A great strike over the keeper to score his first goal for Nashville SC in Major League Soccer. After serving as a staple in Houston, Philadelphia and Dallas, Picault has opened up his tally for Nashville.

His efforts also inspired the team to a much-needed victory.

1. Federico Bernardeschi (vs. Charlotte FC)

Wow.

Federico Bernardeschi scored his third goal of the season in a spectacular manner. He completed the Olimpico to open up the scoring against Charlotte FC, before eventually managing the 2-2 draw for one point.

Though it wasn't the result Toronto needed, the goal still deserves the top place on this list.
