Barcelona travel to the home of reigning Hungarian champions Ferencvaros for a group game in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Fittingly, as the player whose goal earned Barcelona's first ever European Cup back in 1992, Ronald Koeman is yet to taste defeat in the Champions League since becoming the club's manager in the summer.

With qualification already confirmed, Koeman is set to rotate for the trip to Budapest, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Philippe Coutinho left out of the squad. A strong Barcelona side coasted to a 5-1 victory at the Camp Nou in the reverse fixture, how the supporting cast fares on foreign soil remains to be seen.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Neto (GK) - The Brazilian back-up, may not boast the same range of passing skills as Ter Stegen, but Neto fared admirably when filling in for the German at the start of the season, as he should do once more in midweek.

Sergino Dest (RB) - The first ever American to play for Barcelona has so far rewarded the faith Koeman showed in the 20-year-old when he insisted the club target Dest rather than Norwich City's Max Aarons last summer.

Sergio Busquets (CB) - With Gerard Pique and Ronald Araujo both out injured, Busquets can fill in at the back without risking the fitness of the natural option Clement Lenglet, who tweaked his ankle on the weekend.

Oscar Mingueza (CB) - Having made his first-team debut in the last Champions League outing - registering an assist against Dynamo Kyiv - the 21-year-old academy product is set to take advantage of the injury pile up and make a third consecutive senior appearance.

Junior Firpo (LB) -
The 24-year-old's only start of the season came in last week's trip to Ukraine, but with Jordi Alba's ageing limbs increasingly likely to tire, Firpo should earn a rare outing from the off in what is almost a dead rubber.

2. Midfielders

Miralem Pjanic (CM) - The 30-year-old's standing as the only Barcelona player to start every Champions League match this season is set to continue after he was rested for the weekend rout of Osasuna.

Carles Alena (CM) - Having been left out in the cold for the start of the season, the Barcelona academy graduate has gradually begun to convince Koeman he can play as one of the team's double pivots, rather than just in a 4-3-3. Wednesday provides a risk-free and competitive setting to see his development.

Pedri (AM) - After impressing on the left, right and as the number ten, Pedri was taken off at half-time at the weekend after starting in a deeper midfield role for the first time. Back in a more familiar and favoured position, the 18-year-old could have another chance to impress in midweek.

3. Forwards

Francisco Trincao (RW) - In the fleeting cameo appearances he has been afforded, the twinkle-toed, trigger-happy 20-year-old has shown plenty of reasons for more opportunities from the start.

Martin Braithwaite (ST) - After one goal in his first 17 Barcelona appearances, Braithwaite has found the net three times in his last two outings. By stretching defences and providing some much-needed space for Barcelona's carousel of number tens to operate in, the Denmark international is proving hard to leave out.

Ousmane Dembele (LW) - Fully fit (for now) and with the number of consecutive appearances steadily rising, Dembele could have the chance to better his return of a goal and an assist when the sides last met in October.
