Inter have had an up and down season.

I Nerazzurri finished the Serie A campaign in second, just a point behind Juventus and, at the time of writing, they're still in with a chance of Europa League glory.

Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez have formed one of the best strike partnerships in Europe, while at the back Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij have made their defence the best in Italy.

Here's a look at every player on the books at San Siro and those who could leave the club this summer as Inter look to push for their first league title since 2010.

1. Goalkeepers

Samir Handanovic (STAY) - Handanovic has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world over the last few years. Heading into his eighth season in Milan, Antonio Conte will be relying on him to continue that form.

Daniele Padelli (GO) - Padelli's contract runs out at the end of August and it won't be renewed.

Tommaso Berni (GO) - Holding the fantastic record of having more yellow cards than games at Inter, Berni will leave at the end of his contract.

Gabriel Brazao (GO on loan) - The Brazilian spent the season on loan at Albacete, but only played five times. It is too early for him to be the backup to Handanovic so Inter will need to sign a proper number two.

2. Centre Backs

Stefan de Vrij (STAY) - De Vrij is one of the top defenders in world football. He has built a fantastic partnership with Skriniar and he will be key to Inter's title hopes next season.

Milan Skriniar (STAY)
- See above. Skriniar and the Dutchman are both phenomenal defenders and are even better in a Conte back three.

Alessandro Bastoni (STAY) - The young centre back has broken into Inter's team this season, keeping Diego Godin out at times with his exceptional performances. There is a good chance he could form the final third of Conte's back three alongside De Vrij and Skriniar.

Diego Godin (GO) - When he signed for Inter it looked like an absolute steal, but it has become clear why Atletico Madrid let Godin leave. The Uruguayan is coming to the end of a distinguished career and he'll most likely see it out elsewhere.

Andrea Ranocchia (GO)
- The former Hull man isn't - and never has been - good enough for Inter, so they will sell him this summer.

Lorenzo Pirola (GO on loan) - At 18 years old, Pirola is too young to make his presence known in this Inter side. A loan move would be beneficial for both parties.

3. Wing Backs

Danilo D'Ambrosio (GO) - D'Ambrosio has only played this season because Inter didn't really have anyone better. Now that Achraf Hakimi has joined, D'Ambrosio should be sold.

Victor Moses (GO) - The Chelsea loanee's spell at Inter will come to an end on August 31, and as much as Conte loves Moses, he shouldn't bring him back next term.

Valentino Lazaro (GO) - Lazaro's move to Inter hasn't really worked out. After an unsuccessful loan spell at Newcastle, he looks set to leave this summer.

Antonio Candreva (STAY) - When Conte arrived, Candreva was an ageing winger. Now he is a solid option at right wing back, and he will continue to be next season.

Cristiano Biraghi (STAY) - Biraghi was on loan at Inter last season, with Dalbert going the other way to Fiorentina. It looks like those two moves will be extended for another year.

Ashley Young (STAY) - Young, much like his hairline, has been revitalised at Inter. Playing as a wing back in Conte's trademark system, he has offered an offensive threat down the left flank.

Kwadwo Asamoah (GO)
- Asamoah's time at Inter looks like it may be up. He has seen his first-team opportunities dry up since Conte's arrival and will be looking to leave this summer.

4. Central Midfielders

Marcelo Brozovic (STAY) - Brozovic is another member of Croatia's incredible generation of midfielders and has become Inter's main man in the middle of the park.

Nicolo Barella (STAY) - One of the most exciting midfielders in world football, Barella joined last summer from Cagliari and has established himself in Inter's midfield.

Stefano Sensi (STAY)
- Sensi was on loan at Inter from Sassuolo last season. It was announced at the end of the Serie A season that the Italian's stay at Inter would be made permanent.

Matias Vecino (GO)
- There has been a lot of talk regarding a swap deal involving Vecino and Napoli's Allan. If Inter can pull that off, it'd be a terrific move.

Roberto Gagliardini (STAY) - Gagliardini is nothing special but he represents a good rotation option in midfield for Inter.

5. Attacking Midfielders

Christian Eriksen (STAY) - Eriksen hasn't blown anyone away at San Siro yet, but he's shown enough to suggest he'll be a big part of Inter's lineup over the next few years.

Borja Valero (STAY) - Valero staying is hugely reliant on Conte staying. If the manager stays then he will. If not, he's gone.

Joao Mario (GO) - Mario is returning from an indifferent spell at Lokomotiv Moscow. Inter will look to sell him this summer if they can.

6. Forwards

Romelu Lukaku (STAY) - Lukaku is back to his best at Inter, tearing Serie A apart. He also broke the Europa League record for most consecutive games with a goal. It's good to see the Belgian back in form.

Lautaro Martinez (STAY)
- Martinez is the second half of the best strike partnership in world football right now. The Argentine forward has been so good that Barcelona have expressed an interest in him. If Inter can hold onto him, they will push Juventus all the way next season.

Alexis Sanchez (STAY) - Sanchez has found himself again out in Milan. His loan move was made permanent at the beginning of August.

Sebastiano Esposito (STAY) - Esposito been shown glimpses of his best in the first team this season and he will continue to do so next term.
