Chelsea completely outclassed Swiss champions Servette as they moved top of their Women's Champions League group with a 7-0 victory in Geneva on Tuesday night.

The Blues were 4-0 up inside 20 minutes. Melanie Leupolz opened the scoring early on with a thumping left-foot strike before Fran Kirby made it two, finishing from Sam Kerr's cute flick around the corner.

Kerr got on the scoresheet herself just two minutes later, tapping in after more good work from Leupolz. Then after Servette lost the ball from the restart the 'Kerrby' combination struck again, with the Australian striker running onto Kirby's lofted through ball to prod home.

Chelsea managed to find two more before the break. First, Kirby rounded off a fine move by dinking the goalkeeper to get her second, before turning provider again as Jessie Fleming somehow squeezed her shot in from an acute angle.

Guro Reiten completed the rout four minutes into the second half, side-footing into the back of the net after good work from Kerr and Drew Spence in the build-up. Chelsea took their foot off the gas thereafter, but the work was done.

The result leaves Chelsea top of Group A in the Women's Champions League. Juventus and Wolfsburg go head to head later on Tuesday, although the Germans would need a healthy victory to reclaim top spot.

Here's how the players rated...

CHELSEA WOMEN PLAYER RATINGS

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Zecira Musovic (GK) - 7/10 - Had very, very little to do, as the scoreline suggests.

Millie Bright (CB) - 8/10 -
Classy disguised pass to assist the opener. Kept Chelsea on the front foot by stepping into midfield and making some physical challenges. Couple of lapses in concentration after the break.

Jess Carter (CB) - 7/10 -
Solid at the heart of the Chelsea defence, but rarely tested. Subbed.

Magdalena Eriksson (CB) - 7/10 -
Sprayed some fine passes out from the back, which caused the hosts problems. Subbed after an easy night's work.

2. Wing-backs & midfielders

Melanie Leupolz

Erin Cuthbert (RWB) - 6/10 - Not quite able to have as much of an impact as some of her teammates in the early blitz. Subbed.

Melanie Leupolz (CM) - 8/10 -
Lovely touch and whipped, left-footed finish to open the scoring. Assisted the third brilliantly, taking the ball down and putting it on a plate for Kerr. Slide-rule pass in the build-up to the fifth was sumptuous too.

Drew Spence (CM) - 7/10 -
Charged with doing the dirty work in midfield, although still managed to get involved going forward. Unlucky to strike the bar in the second half before thumping wide.

Guro Reiten (LWB) - 7/10 -
Some wonderful deliveries from the left, including in the build-up to the third. Inches wide with a curling effort. Drilled home a goal of her own early in the second half. Subbed.

3. Forwards

Fran Kirby (RF) - 9/10 - Should have scored in the opening exchanges, hitting the goalkeeper before hitting the bar. Made no mistake shortly afterwards, firing through the keeper. Perfect assist for Kerr to make it four. Dinked finish for five. Another assist for six. Ridiculous.

Sam Kerr (ST) - 9/10 -
Cute flick around the corner to assist Kirby. Turned scorer with two simple finishes in quick succession. Another assist early in the second half. Subbed.

Jessie Fleming (LF) - 8/10 -
Great run to assist number five. Fantastic finish from an acute angle to make it 6-0.

4. Substitutes

Jonna Andersson (CB) - 6/10 - Good defending as Servette had a rare opening.

Niamh Charles (RWB) - 7/10 -
Some nice combination play down her flank after coming on and one or two good deliveries.

Georgia Fox (LWB) - 6/10 -
A Champions League debut. Looked nervous, but that's fair enough really.

Maren Mjelde (CB) - 6/10 -
Great to see her back after a long injury absence.

Beth England (ST) - 6/10 -
Some intelligent runs, but to no avail.
