The 2022/23 Champions League will get underway on Tuesday, with Paris Saint-Germain's meeting with Juventus perhaps the biggest event of the evening.

Ligue 1 champions PSG are flying under new manager Christophe Galtier and are already among the pre-tournament favourites, and they'll be looking forward to testing themselves against a stubborn Juve side.

Massimiliano Allegri has faced plenty of criticism for his tactics but Juventus come into this one unbeaten in Serie A, although the come into this one having held on to a 1-1 draw with Fiorentina like their lives depended on it.

Here's what you need to know about this one.

PSG team news

Midfielder Vitinha was forced off with a knee injury in the weekend's 3-0 victory over Nantes but is expected to fit enough to feature in this one.

In goal, Galtier will have to make a decision between Gianluigi Donnarumma and Keylor Navas. The latter is yet to play a single minute this season and was former boss Mauricio Pochettino's go-to in cup games, but whether that will stay the same under Galtier is unclear.

Bench: Navas, Rico, Kimpembe, Bernat, Mukiele, Zaire-Emery, Sanches, Soler, Sarabia, Ekitike, Bitshiabu, Fabian

Juventus team news

Allegri almost has as many unavailable players as he does healthy ones.

Paul Pogba, Adrien Rabiot, Wojciech Szczesny, Marley Ake, Kaio Jorge and Federico Chiesa have all been out injured, although Rabiot has been training with the squad in the build-up to this game and could feature on the bench.

The boss has been coy over the fitness of winger Angel Di Maria, who was hauled off at half-time of the Fiorentina draw as a 'precaution'. Reports have suggested he is still training with the side, but just how fit the former PSG man is remains a mystery.

Juventus predicted lineup vs PSG

Bench: Garofani, Pinsoglio, Gatti, Rugani, De Sciglio, Fagioli, Miretti, Soule, Milik, Kean, Rabiot, Di Maria

PSG vs Juventus score prediction

Once seen as a master of not losing, Allegri has made hard work of securing a lot of draws in recent weeks, although his side have shown real desire to weather a lot of pressure to grind out the ugliest of results at times.

That being said, they are yet to face anything like this PSG side who are firing on all cylinders under Galtier.

The Parisians have made light work of Ligue 1 so far and will expect an evening of complete ball dominance against Juve. It might not be easy for them to get through, but with the amount of chances they do create, they shouldn't struggle to find the net once or twice.

Prediction: PSG 2-0 Juventus
