PSG predicted lineup vs Monaco - Ligue 1
By Chris Smith
PSG will look to maintain their eight-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 when they travel to Monaco on Saturday.
It won't be an easy test for the Parisians, with Monaco unbeaten in their last eight across all competitions, while PSG's pride will be bruised after being dumped out of the cup against Marseille during the week.
Here's how Christophe Galtier could lineup for the match.
PSG predicted lineup vs Monaco
GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - With no real competition since the departure of Keylor Navas, Donnarumma must show his best form.
RB: Achraf Hakimi - Notched a goal and assist in PSG's last league match against Toulouse and is in fantastic form right now.
CB: Marquinhos - Has long been the leader of this side, but his role is even more important with Kimpembe still sidelined.
CB: Sergio Ramos - Returned to the side with a goal against Marseille and will be tasked with stopping an impressive Monaco attacking outfit alongside Marquinhos.
LB: Nuno Mendes - Has enjoyed a solid last couple of games and should keep his place.
CM: Marco Verratti - Returned against Marseille after missing the last two Ligue 1 matches. His bite in midfield will be important.
CM: Danilo Pereira - Shifted back into midfield last time out after deputising at centre-back and will look to protect the defence again.
CM: Fabian Ruiz - Is blowing hot and cold but Galtier will hope he can help unlock Monaco's backline.
AM: Vitinha: Remains without a goal or assist in Ligue 1 play this season but with Mbappe likely sidelined, he may get another chance.
ST: Lionel Messi - Scored in each of PSG's last two Ligue 1 victories, taking his tally to 10 goals in 18 appearances this season. First name on the team sheet.
ST: Neymar - Created a match-high three chances against Marseille on his return during the week and will start again here with PSG needing to drastically improve in the final third.
