PSG will look to maintain their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table when they travel to Monaco on Saturday.

The Parisians currently sit eight points clear of Marseille after back-to-back wins over Montpellier and Toulouse, though the challengers did knock them out of the Coupe de France on Wednesday.

PSG's task against Monaco won't be an easy one, facing a side sitting fourth and able to move within seven points of the top themselves with a win thanks to a seven-game unbeaten run in Ligue 1.

Here's everything you need to know about Saturday's match.

Monaco vs PSG score prediction

Though it didn't cost them any points, PSG's cup defeat to Marseille in the week will have left their pride battered and bruised. That, coupled with Monaco's strong form and the likely absence of Mbappe, makes this a very tough away trip, indeed.

It may be a little much to ask for Monaco to emerge victorious, but they might well deal PSG another blow and offer the rest of Ligue 1 some faint hope that the title race can remain alive.

Prediction: Monaco 1-1 PSG
