There have been trophies and nine-goal drubbings, but it still feels as if PSG have made a low-key start to 2024.

Luis Enrique is starting to get the best out of his dominant outfit, with their efficient start to the new year suggesting that PSG will only get stronger as the season progresses.

They already hold an eight-point lead at the top of Ligue 1.

However, the league leaders will be put to the test this weekend against a red-hot Brest side that pose one or two stylistic challenges. Enrique will also be forced to shuffle his pack around as a result of AFCON and the Asian Cup. There will once again be no Achraf Hakimi or Kang-in Lee this weekend.

Here's how PSG could line up for Brest's visit.

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - The Italian finally has some senior competition, but his status as PSG's number one is not yet under threat.

CB: Marquinhos - The captain started on the right side of a back three last time out, and he could stay there on Sunday.

CB: Danilo - A lack of athleticism means Danilo is only suitable for the central defensive role if Danilo is included this weekend. Milan Skriniar is out.

CB: Lucas Beraldo - There are doubts over Lucas Hernandez's status for this one, so January arrival Beraldo could retain his place in Enrique's back three.

RWB: Warren Zaire-Emery - Zaire-Emery may well be PSG's best central midfielder, but Enrique has deployed the Frenchman in a wing-back role this season. He might have to perform the function again this weekend.

CM: Vitinha - The crafty Portuguese star has enjoyed an excellent season, and his work in the build-up will be put to the test by a fierce Brest outfit.

CM: Fabian - Fabian missed a chunk of the season with a shoulder injury, but the Spaniard is 100% fit once more and his profile will be needed against Brest's press.

LWB: Bradley Barcola - Barcola has starred in recent weeks, but he might find himself in a more restricted role on Sunday if Hernandez isn't fit.

RW: Ousmane Dembele - The Frenchman is one of Enrique's darlings, even if he hasn't enjoyed the most productive of seasons. He'll come back into the team after getting a rest in the Coupe de France.

ST: Randal Kolo Muani - There are murmurs suggesting Enrique isn't a massive fan of Ramos, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Kolo Muani gets the nod up top.

LW: Kylian Mbappe - PSG's superstar has continued from where he left off in 2023. Mbappe has scored ten times in his last six outings and six in his last three. He's on fire.
