Paris Saint-Germain have made a typically strong start to the season and sit atop both Ligue 1 and their Champions League group. They have the opportunity to all-but secure a spot in the knockout phase of the latter when they head to Lisbon to play Benfica.

The hosts have the same opportunity, though - both teams sit tied on six points - so it is unlikely to be easy for PSG. However, they will certainly be backing themselves to get the job done, and with the talent they have available, who can blame them?

This is how Christophe Galtier could set up.

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - There appears to be absolutely no displacing the Italian right now.

CB: Nordi Mukiele - Not his preferred position, but likely to fill in on the right of a three-man defence.

CB: Marquinhos - PSG are not replete with defensive options in the absence of Presnel Kimpembe, but they can rely on the Brazilian.

CB: Sergio Ramos - These kinds of matches are what he is sticking around for, surely.

RM: Achraf Hakimi - Expect him to do his usual marauding down the right-hand side.

CM Marco Verratti - PSG have been using the Italian increasingly sparingly, but get the job done here and he can basically have the rest of the group stage off.

CM: Vitinha - Probably a toss-up between him and Danilo Pereira, but Vitinha has been the Champions League man of choice so far.

LM: Nuno Mendes - Firmly established himself on the PSG left.

RF: Lionel Messi - He's Messi. If he's fit, he plays.

CF: Kylian Mbappe - He was rested for the Ligue 1 match against Nice last week so he's likely to be fresh and firing.

LF: Neymar - If he was going to be dropped, we'd likely have already felt the tremors from the tantrum by now.
