Premier League team of the week: Gameweek 6

I know we say this every seven days but goodness, that was an enthralling weekend of Premier League football.
The Merseyside derby was the most entertaining 0-0 draw you'll ever see, Brentford and Leeds played out a cracker, Bournemouth mounted an incredible comeback at Nottingham Forest, Manchester City were lucky to get a draw against Aston Villa, Brendan Rodgers' crises go on and Manchester United got another huge win at home to Arsenal. And breathe.
Here's 90min's selections for the team of the week.
1. GK: Jordan Pickford (Everton)
With eight hugely important - and for the most part unbelievable - saves against Liverpool, Everton largely had England's number one to thank for keeping them in the game.
2. RB: Nathan Patterson (Everton)
Nathan Patterson has had to wait a long time to get a run in this Everton side, but it's becoming quite clear why the Toffees were happy to pay Rangers £11m for someone who had only played 27 senior club games before.
The 20-year-old was every bit up for the fight in Saturday's derby.
3. CB: Joachim Andersen (Crystal Palace)
Just the 18 clearances from Joachim Andersen in Crystal Palace's near-miraculous 0-0 draw at Newcastle.
No biggie.
4. CB: Conor Coady (Everton)
Another Everton player? You bet.
As mentioned, Pickford was a big part of the Toffees' clean sheet, but so to was Conor Coady, who looked every bit the defender Frank Lampard has needed to shore up his backline. Shame about the disallowed goal.
5. LB: Ben Chilwell (Chelsea)
Ben Chilwell came on for Chelsea with the Blues trailing West Ham 1-0 and with around 20 minutes to go.
He ended up scoring and providing a match-winning assist. What more could you have asked from him?
6. CM: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Tottenham Hotspur)
After a disappointing performance against West Ham in midweek, there were question marks over Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's suitability in Tottenham's midfield.
He answered his critics with a goal and a terrific all-round performance against Fulham.
7. CM: Christian Eriksen (Manchester United)
Speaking of Denmark midfielders with a lilywhite connection, Spurs fans will have been delighted with former star Christian Eriksen's performance for Man Utd against Arsenal.
The 30-year-old put in a vintage display, spreading play and going on a rare lung-bursting run to set up the Red Devils' third of the day.
8. CM: Alexis Mac Allister (Brighton & Hove Albion)
In an ideal world, Alexis Mac Allister would have grabbed a hat-trick on Sunday. But unfortunately, his goal of the season contender was disallowed for an egregious offside call. Whatever. I hope you're happy, VAR fans.
9. ST: Dominic Solanke
OK, forgive us for going a bit Garth Crooks here, but we're going with three centre forwards this week because they impressed us more than the wingers. Call someone who cares.
Dominic Solanke was at the heart of Bournemouth's improbably comeback at Nottingham Forest, rising to the occasion when the Cherries needed him most.
10. ST: Ivan Toney (Brentford)
A trademark penalty, a top-bin free-kick and the most unique rounding of a goalkeeper you'll ever see.
Ivan Toney's hat-trick wasn't 'perfect', but it was definitely satisfying.
11. ST: Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)
Marcus Rashford's redemption continued on Sunday with two goals and an assist against Arsenal.
You'd hope Gareth Southgate has been paying attention to his performances this season.
