Copa America 2024 will be here before we know it with the US men's national team taking on Panama on June 27 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The USMNT will hope to go far in the competition on their home soil and head coach Gregg Berhalter will have a few tough decisions to make regarding his starting lineup come late June.

There are the obvious picks like Matt Turner in between the sticks, Antonee Robinson slotting in at left-back and Christian Pulisic taking up shop on the left-wing. However, there are still a few question marks about who will partner in the heart of defense and who will join Weston McKennie in the middle of the park.

Here's how 90min believes the USMNT should lineup up for this summer's Copa America.

GK: Matt Turner - Despite his inconsistent form at club level with Nottingham Forest, Turner typically turns up with it comes to playing for his country.

RB: Joe Scally - With Sergino Dest out indefinitely with a torn ACL, the Borussia Monchengladbach full-back gets a chance to prove his worth at right-back.

CB: Chris Richards - Fresh off a breakout year with Crystal Palace, Richards partners Ream in the backline.

CB: Tim Ream - The veteran defender leads the backline in what could be his final major tournament for the US.

LB: Antonee Robinson - No questions here. The Fulham full-back starts alongside his club teammate Ream and will be one of the first names on Berhalter's team sheet.

CM: Tyler Adams - Should he recover from his current knock in time and steer clear of any additional injuries, the 25-year-old anchors the midfield and allows McKennie and Reyna to drive up the pitch.

CM: Weston McKennie - The former Schalke 04 player hopes to carry over his incredible club form with Juventus into the tournament to give the USMNT a boost in the midfield.

CM: Gio Reyna - If the US are to go far in Copa America, Reyna will definitely have a part to play by pulling the strings from the midfield and connecting the defense to the attack.

RW: Tim Weah - Like Turner, Weah usually turns it up a notch when he pulls on the USA shirt and will be crucial to success of the frontline with his exceptional pace and ability to get past his man.

ST: Folarin Balogun - Although the striker position still hasn't been claimed so to speak, Balogun is the most talented center-forward in the USMNT ranks and will more than likely get the starting nod against Panama.

LW: Christian Pulisic - "Captain America" will aim to lead his nation to a deep run in the competition and lead by example on the left-wing by providing goals and assists to being Group Stage play.
