90min is the home of the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month Award for the 2022/23 season.

Each month, you can vote for your favourite players across five divisions of English football, for the chance to win incredible prizes, including the opportunity to present the award to the winning player.

Your League One nominees for February are...


1. Jordan Williams (Barnsley)

Tykes right-back Jordan Williams enjoyed an outstanding month with two goals, two clean sheets and an assist.

Williams claimed his goals against Cambridge and Cheltenham, while also grabbing an assist in the win over Derby.


2. Dion Charles (Bolton Wanderers)

Dion Charles is now one of the top scorers in League One after another good month with four goals.

The start of the month began well with a hat-trick in the 5-0 win over Peterborough, while also claiming a goal in the loss to Portsmouth.


3. David McGoldrick (Derby County)

35-year-old David McGoldrick is showing some of the best form in his career - what a month he had in February with six goals and three assists.

A hat-trick in the win over Morecambe was followed up with goals against Charlton, Barnsley and Cheltenham, where he also had an assist. He also created both their goals in the 3-2 loss at Wycombe.


4. Shaun Rooney (Fleetwood Town)

A fantastic month for Fleetwood and Shaun Rooney who he helped them to four clean sheets and also claimed two goals.

He opening the scoring in the 2-1 win over Charlton and before claiming the only goal of the game against Cambridge.


5. Josh Windass (Sheffield Wednesday)

Josh Windass continued to play a key role for table-topping Wednesday and claimed three goals and two assists.

He scored a brace in the win over Morecambe and also found the back of the net against MK Dons. There was also a brace of assists in the 2-2 draw at promotion rivals Ipswich.


6. Lewis Wing (Wycombe Wanderers)

Former Middlesbrough midfielder Lewis Wing showed great form for Wycombe in February with three goals to his name.

He claimed a brace in the big win over promotion rivals Derby and he then claimed the only goal of the game against another rival Bolton. He also grabbed an assist against Port Vale.
