PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans' Player of the Month - March nominees

Each month, you can vote for your favourite players across five divisions of English football, for the chance to win incredible prizes, including the opportunity to present the award to the winning player.
Your Championship nominees for March are...
1. Nathan Tella (Burnley)
Appearances: 5
Goals: 4
It was another brilliant month for Burnley and Nathan Tella as the Southampton loanee claimed five more goals.
Tella was crucial in the 3-0 win over Wigan where he claimed a brace. He then went one better in the 3-1 success over Hull City as he bagged the first hat-trick of his career.
2. Viktor Gyokeres (Coventry City)

Goals: 3
Assists: 3
Another month and another nomination for Coventry's brilliant Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres.
He started the month in brilliant fashion with two goals and an assist in the 4-0 win at Huddersfield.
Gyokeres followed that up with assists against Hull and Blackpool before adding this third goal of the month against Wigan.
3. Chuba Akpom (Middlesbrough)
Appearances: 4
Goals: 5
Assists: 1
Five goals in four games and an assist - Chuba Akpom just kept delivering for Middlesbrough and Michael Carrick.
Championship top-scorer Akpom began the month with two goals in the win over Reading.
He followed that up with consecutive goals in games against Swansea, Stoke and Preston, where he also claimed an assist.
4. Cameron Archer (Middlesbrough)

Assists: 1
The Aston Villa loanee showed his importance to Boro in March with three goals and an assist.
His first goal of the month arrived in the win at Swansea. Then a brace against Preston arrived as he also grabbed an assist.
5. Tommy Doyle (Sheffield United)

Goals: 1
Two goals from the Man City loanee Tommy Doyle - one in the Championship - in March helped the Blades continue their promotion push.
Doyle scored the winner in their crucial 2-1 win at Sunderland, before then carving his name in history as he scored an injury time winner against Blackburn to see them into the FA Cup semi-finals.
6. Ki-Jana Hoever (Stoke City)

Clean sheets: 1
Stoke City were one of the form teams in March and their on-loan wing-back Ki-Jana Hoever was brilliant.
Two goals in the 3-2 win over Blackburn was followed by a crucial strike in the 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough. He finished the month helping them keep a clean sheet in the 0-0 draw with Norwich.
