Your Championship nominees for August are...
1. Oscar Estupinan (Hull City)
The Colombian striker was one of Hull's big summer signings and he is showing a real liking for the Championship.
He scored a brilliant seven goals in seven games, including a hat-trick against Coventry.
Estupinan also added to that with braces against Norwich and West Brom, and a crucial assist in the 1-1 draw with promotion favourites Burnley.
2. Josh Brownhill (Burnley)
The Burnley star was the subject of Premier League interest on deadline day and it is easy to see why after his brilliant start to the season.
He opened his account in a 1-1 draw with Luton before adding to that tally against Blackpool.
Brownhill later claimed a brace and assist in the Clarets' brilliant 5-1 win at Wigan.
3. Josh Sargent (Norwich City)
The American striker is another who has excelled in the Championship since dropping down from the Premier League.
Every time Sargent scored for Norwich, they won in the opening month, grabbing goals scored in wins against Huddersfield, Sunderland and Millwall.
4. Anel Ahmedhodzic
Bosnia international defender Anel Ahmedhodzic has enjoyed a brilliant first month in English football.
Ahmedhodzic has contributed at both ends of the pitch. He scored and assisted in the 2-1 win over Sunderland, before claiming a brace in the 4-0 triumph against Reading.
He also helped the Blades to clean sheets in three games.
5. Ilias Chair (Queens Park Rangers)
There was no creator more prolific in the opening month of the Championship than QPR's outstanding Ilias Chair.
The Moroccan claimed an assist against Middlesbrough and Rotherham, before grabbing another in the draw at Sunderland where he also scored.
Further goals followed in the wins over Watford and Hull to seal an outstanding opening to the season for Chair.
6. Ross Stewart (Sunderland)
Ross Stewart featured heavily in our League One nominations last season and he has continued where he left off.
The Scotland international has bagged five goals already with strikes against Bristol City, QPR and Stoke and then also helped himself to a brace against Rotherham.
Stewart also assisted in the wins over Rotherham and Bristol City, while he claimed another in the loss at Sheffield United.
