Real Madrid face a quick turnaround as they travel north to face Osasuna in La Liga on Wednesday.

Los Blancos are fresh from a largely unmerited yet stunning 3-2 comeback victory, having trailed 2-0 at the break, at Sevilla on Sunday night.

That win left Carlo Ancelotti's side 15 points clear at the La Liga summit, with Barcelona failing to reduce the gap after a shock loss against Cadiz on Monday.

With nine wins in 11 outings across all competitions behind them and - barring any miracles of a Blaugrana persuasion - destined for the title, Los Blancos now face a sprightly Osasuna side gunning for a top-half finish, with three victories in their four previous outings.

Real Madrid team news

Ancelotti will have to once again make do without Eden Hazard, Marcelo and Ferland Mendy through injury, while Dani Ceballos will also remain absent through illness.

Casemiro is eligible to return after serving a recent suspension but is set to miss out anyway because of a fitness problem that also makes the Brazilian a potential doubt for the Champions League semi-final first leg against Manchester City next week.

Osasuna vs Real Madrid score prediction

With the hosts' impressive form and the visitors' consistently underwhelming displays in mind, another laboured evening for Real Madrid is on the cards.

We've seen Ancelotti's men really struggle to dominate matches and put opposition to the sword in recent weeks and months; and yet, Los Blancos always seem to complete the task at hand with some sort of inspiration - that inspiration predominantly being a bloke named Karim Benzema.

With the enigmatic Frenchman spearheading a world-class lineup, you'd expect Los Blancos to move another huge step closer to the title.

Prediction: Osasuna 1-3 Real Madrid
