Real Madrid can take another step towards winning the La Liga title when they visit Osasuna on Saturday.

Madrid hold a seven-point lead over Girona at the top of La Liga and it would take a catastrophe for them not to snatch the title back from Barcelona. However, Ancelotti will know every win gives him more license to focus on the Champions League.

Osasuna aren't a soft touch this season, though, sitting tenth with an outside chance of securing European football if they finish the campaign strongly. They have won three of their last five matches and six points off Real Betis in seventh.

Osasuna don't have any suspensions for Madrid's visit but are without three important players who aren't expected to feature again until the back end of the campaign.

Ruben Pena, Enrique Barja, David Garcia and Aimar Oroz are all sidelined, with Barja not set to recover until next season. Garcia and Oroz should return before the end of the month but this match will come too soon.

Madrid's major absentee remains Jude Bellingham, who will serve the second of his two-game suspension after receiving a red card at the end of the draw against Valencia.

There are injuries for Ancelotti to consider too, with David Alaba, Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao all continuing their recoveries from serious knee issues. Those absences and Bellingham's suspension mean Ancelotti is expected to field the same or a similar team to the one that beat Celta Vigo 4-0 last time out.

Osasuna vs Real Madrid score prediction

At this point, Real Madrid look set to stroll to the La Liga title with Girona focused on ensuring they finish in the top four and grab a Champions League place. Los Blancos comfortably beat Celta Vigo last time out and know another handful of wins will secure the championship.

For that reason, they are the overwhelming favourites in Pamplona on Saturday, but the home team have enjoyed a good season and won't roll over.

There will be some resistance, but Ancelotti's side should get all three points.

Prediction: Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid
