Netherlands and North Macedonia conclude their Euro 2020 group stage journeys on Monday evening as the meet each other on matchday three of Group C.

We said goodbye from a progress standpoint to North Macedonia last time out, as their 2-1 loss to Ukraine signalled the end of the road in their first ever major tournament. Despite that result, and a 3-1 loss against Austria on matchday one, they've given a good account of themselves and have endeared themselves to most spectators.

North Macedonia team news

There are no injuries or fitness concerns to report from the North Macedonia camp, so Igor Angelovski has a fully fit squad to choose from.

It's likely that we'll see a similar starting XI to their previous fixture, although Eljif Elmas, whose creativity was stifled against Ukraine, could drop back into midfield to try and cause the Netherlands more problems.

Frank De Boer also has no new concerns but, with top spot in the group already sealed, we could see a bit of rotation.

If this is the case, players like Nathan Ake, Donyell Malen and Davy Klaasen could be given starting roles, although Our 21's Ryan Gravenberch is the player a lot fans would love to see on the field from the outset.

Our 21's One to Watch

Should he start, there would be a lot of eyes on 19-year old Gravenberch.

The Ajax central midfielder came on for a 16-minute cameo against Austria, marking just his sixth cap, but a longer stint on the field would really allow him to show what he's capable of.

Technically gifted, composed, strong and progressive form midfield, he seems an ideal partner to Frenkie de Jong. and, having already scored for his country, he deserves a spot in the starting XI at some stage during these championships - there's no better time than against North Macedonia, against whom he could truly boss proceedings.

Predicted lineups

North Macedonia: Dimitrievski; Ristovski, Velkovski, Musliu; Nikolov, Bardhi, Ademi, Elmas, Alioski; Pandev, Trajkovski

Netherlands: Stekelenburg; De Vrij, De Ligt, Ake; Dumfries, Gravenberch, Wijnaldum, De Jong, Van Aanholt; Depay, Malen

North Macedonia vs Netherlands head to-head record & score prediction

North Macedonia actually don't have the worst record against their matchday three opponents, having picked up two draws (and lost the other two) in their four meetings up to this point.

But predicting this one based on their head to head record would be silly. Netherlands have looked a very strong outfit in their opening two matches of Euro 2020 and, with the intensity they've been capable of maintaining through the course of 90 minutes, they should be too much for North Macedonia.

We'd all love to see Goran Pandev notch a last minute winner to give our favourite underdogs a beautiful win but, let's face it, with the firepower up top, the intense quality in midfield and a newfound stability and strength at the back thanks to Matthijs de Ligt's return, this could be a mauling.

Prediction: North Macedonia 0-4 Netherlands
