Newcastle's Champions League pursuit received another boost on Saturday as Eddie Howe's side ran out 2-1 winners at Brentford.

Nick Pope saved Ivan Toney's first penalty but the striker wasn't to be denied again from the spot, converting just after half time.

However, an own goal from David Raya and Alexander Isak's strike helped Newcastle turn the score around and remain ahead of both Manchester United and Tottenham in the top four race.

While it's a tough looking fixture list, Newcastle haven't lost to a side they will face in their next six matches.

Here's who Newcastle have got coming up over the next few weeks.

Newcastle's victory over Aston Villa in October was their third in a run of six straight league wins.

Aaron Danks was in the opposition dugout following the departure of Steven Gerrard, but the Villans are a much trickier opponent with Unai Emery at the helm.

Tottenham look like they're running out of puff in the top four battle and this is a prime opportunity for the Magpies to knock their rivals out of the race for good.

Newcastle were too good for Spurs in the season's earlier fixture and a buzzing atmosphere at St James' Park could guide them to a massive victory over Cristian Stellini and co.

Newcastle had 16 shots to Everton's one when the two sides met at St James' Park earlier this season. With Sean Dyche now in charge of the Toffees, this trip to Goodison Park could be a little trickier than anticipated.

There'll also be a glorious return to Merseyside for Anthony Gordon, who left for Tyneside in January.

There'll be another relegation contender for Newcastle to see off late in April when current basement boys Southampton travel to Tyneside.

The Magpies were too good for the Saints in early November as Almiron, Chris Wood, Joe Willock and Bruno Guimaraes all struck in a 4-1 win. Newcastle also beat Southampton in both legs of their Carabao Cup semi-final tie.

Given how this game played out last season, it's little surprise to see how much attention the clash at St James' Park between Newcastle and Arsenal is drawing.

Newcastle will be looking to sure up a top four spot while the Gunners will want to preserve or extend their lead at the top of the table. This one will be a blast.

The trip to Leeds will be Newcastle's penultimate away game of the season - they visit Chelsea on the final day of the campaign.

Leeds are still one of the many teams looking to inch themselves further away from danger and managed a surprise draw at St James' Park on New Year's Eve.
