Marcus Rashford has said he's working hard to get back to full fitness 'asap' after suffering a muscle injury.

The forward hobbled off in the final 10 minutes of Manchester United's comfortable 2-0 win over Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday, something which caused a considerable amount of concern among the United faithful.

And that concern is because Rashford has inarguably been the club's most impressive attacker under Erik ten Hag this season. The England international has enjoyed a career-best campaign, scoring 28 goals in all competitions - including 15 in the Premier League.

On Wednesday, the Red Devils confirmed that Rashford is set to miss a 'few games' with the suspected groin injury, but 'is expected to be back for the season run-in.'

In response to this statement, Rashford tweet out that he is working hard to return to action as quickly as he can, writing: "I'm working hard with the physio to get back asap! See you soon."

The Man Utd games Marcus Rashford will miss through injury

The Red Devils confirmed that Rashford will miss the Europa League clash with Sevilla on Thursday evening, but did not specify exactly how many other games their star man will miss.

One would expect Rashford to also be unavailable for the return leg of their quarter final clash with Europa League specialists Sevilla, and the trip to relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Man Utd fans will be waiting with bated breath to see if the England international will be ready in time to face Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup semi-final on 23rd April.
