Manchester City look to make it 16 wins in a row when they host Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.

City have been in imperious form since the turn of the year, conceding just two league goals in their last nine games. The form of John Stones and Ruben Dias has seen Pep Guardiola's side move five points clear at the top of the Premier League with a game in hand over the teams closest to them and they come up against a Spurs side bereft of confidence.

Tottenham have beaten City in the last two games between the sides, so Guardiola needs to select his team carefully to ensure all three points are taken on the night. Here's the team he should go with.

1. Goalkeeper and Defenders

Ederson (GK) - The most clean sheets in the Premier League this season, Ederson starts when he's fit.

Kyle Walker (RB) -
The former Spurs man has been in and out of the side recently, but a goal in midweek plus his pace to help defend the counter attack should see him come in.

John Stones (CB) -
The England defender has been in tremendous form this season for City and should continue at the heart of the defence.

Ruben Dias (CB) -
The best defender in the league this season, Dias should shake off an illness to come straight back into the side.

Joao Cancelo (LB) -
He's been in tremendous form from right back but Cancelo is so good he's able to move over to the opposite side and be just as influential. Must start.

2. Midfielders

Rodri (DM) - The former Atletico Madrid midfielder has picked up his form in recent weeks and has been able to keep Fernandinho out of the side for the most part. With the Brazilian out injured, Rodri keeps his place.

Ilkay Gundogan (CM) -
January's Premier League player of the month, the German scored five league goals last month and has continued that form into February.

Bernardo Silva (CM) -
The Portuguese wizard is in form again following Kevin De Bruyne's injury and has found a home in the centre of the pitch.

3. Forwards

Raheem Sterling (RW) - After a run of four goals in 16 games over Christmas and January, Sterling has found his touch again with five in his last six games. He'll be a huge threat to Spurs once again.

Gabriel Jesus (ST) -
The Brazilian has failed to nail down a place despite the absence of Sergio Aguero, but he's still City's best option up front and should start here.

Phil Foden (LW) -
The man of the moment has taken his role as a first team regular this season with both hands and has earned his place as a starter with recent performances.
