Manchester United will be aiming to close the gap on the top four this weekend when they travel to West Ham United on Saturday lunchtime.

The Red Devils are without a win in three but will have grown in confidence after a respectable point against Liverpool last time out. However, Erik ten Hag's side have not scored during their winless run, with goals hard to come by for Man Utd's forwards at present.

The Dutch coach also has to contend with a raft of injuries to key personnel, the likes of Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez missing until the new year. A trip to the London Stadium is never straightforward, even if West Ham have conceded five goals in two of their last four matches.

Here is how Man Utd could line up against West Ham this weekend.

GK: Andre Onana - While you can never quite be sure which Onana will turn up, the Cameroonian hasn't made any glaring errors in the past few games. Progress.

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka - With Diogo Dalot suspended, Wan-Bissaka will return to the starting lineup. The right-back will be kept honest by the likes of Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen.

CB: Jonny Evans - Ten Hag will be hoping Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof can return from injury soon, but Evans hasn't been a bad deputy this season. The veteran performed well at Anfield and offers some leadership at the back for the Red Devils.

CB: Raphael Varane - The Frenchman stood out with a measured and well-rounded performance at Anfield, despite the fact that he has not always been favoured by Ten Hag.

LB: Luke Shaw - The defender's return has been significant for Man Utd, especially given their injury woes. His pace and physicality will be crucial up against the tricky Mohammed Kudus, who managed a brace in his last Premier League outing.

CM: Kobbie Mainoo - What a difference the young man has made to Man Utd's midfield, offering astounding composure for an 18-year-old. Continues to impress with every start and will likely be given the nod against West Ham after a midweek rest.

CM: Scott McTominay - Sofyan Amrabat's erratic performance against Liverpool means McTominay may be forced to drop into a deeper role, especially with the return of Bruno Fernandes. Man Utd supporters will be hopeful it doesn't completely stifle his attacking output.

RM: Antony - Man Utd's lack of right-sided options means Antony will likely start against West Ham despite having not registered a goal or assist in 13 Premier League matches.

AM: Bruno Fernandes - The captain's return should help Man Utd in the final third, offering them a more consistent creative influence. He will need to find a way to evade Edson Alvarez on Saturday.

LM: Marcus Rashford - After only making a cameo against Liverpool due to illness, Rashford could be in line for a return to the starting lineup. Alejandro Garnacho has been in good form, but the Englishman is due a start.

ST: Rasmus Hojlund - Still searching for his first Premier League goal, the striker needs to offer more to Man Utd in and out of possession. However, he also needs better service from his attacking teammates.
