Manchester United welcome Tottenham to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday and some key players could return from injury for the Red Devils.

It's no secret Man Utd have struggled massively with knocks so far this season, but their ranks should be boosted this weekend with the likes of Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw in line to start against Spurs.

South American duo Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez are also back in training and might feature on Sunday, though whether either player will be rushed back after considerable spells out remains to be seen.

With a lot to consider, here's the starting lineup manager Erik ten Hag may choose when Man Utd host Tottenham in the Premier League.

Luke Shaw

GK: Andre Onana - Ten Hag didn't give an update on Onana's availability in Friday's press conference but it was previously reported the Cameroon international would play at Old Trafford and then jet off to the Africa Cup of Nations. Once this game is done, it'll be Altay Bayindir's chance to shine between the sticks.

RB: Diogo Dalot - Scorer of the first goal against Wigan in the FA Cup, Dalot is enjoying a good season despite the general chaos and Ten Hag clearly trusts him.

CB: Raphael Varane - The Frenchman's return to fitness has been important and it might not be long until the regular partnership from last season is reunited with Lisandro Martinez back in training. He still seems destined to leave the club in the near future, though.

CB: Harry Maguire - There is a chance Maguire does not return in time to start, but Ten Hag is likely to pick him if fit. If it's not Maguire, expect Jonny Evans to start.

LB: Luke Shaw - Similarly to Maguire, Shaw will start at left-back if deemed fit enough. If not, Dalot will shift over to the left with Aaron Wan-Bissaka coming in at right-back.

CM: Scott McTominay - There are midfield options returning for Ten Hag with Casemiro and Christian Eriksen potentially available, so McTominay will need to put in a big display.

CM: Kobbie Mainoo - With the returning midfielders mentioned above, the next few weeks is when we'll learn just how much faith Ten Hag has in emerging star Mainoo.

RW: Alejandro Garnacho - The man of the moment for Man Utd, Garnacho will certainly start on the right at Old Trafford despite Antony being fit.

AM: Bruno Fernandes - So many parts of this Man Utd team change week in, week out, but Fernandes is always available and will start behind the striker.

LW: Marcus Rashford - He still can't seem to recapture his best form and was disappointing again against Wigan despite having so much of the ball. Rashford needs a bigger display here.

ST: Rasmus Hojlund - The Dane really should have scored against Wigan but you can bet he'll still get into the right positions on Sunday. It's just the finishing that's lacking.
