Erik ten Hag's Manchester United travel to Seville hoping to defend a three-goal advantage against Real Betis and advance to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

After seeing off La Liga giants Barcelona over two legs, United opened up a 4-1 advantage over Betis thanks to a display of scintillating attacking football at Old Trafford.

The margin of victory may allow Ten Hag to rotate a couple of players out of his side, with Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes walking the yellow card tightrope, while Alejandro Garnacho will miss out after picking up an injury in the 0-0 draw with Southampton on Sunday.

Here's the XI the Dutchman may plump for.

GK: David de Gea - Yet to sign a new contract at Old Trafford, De Gea could actually walk away from the club for free at the end of the season. Could lifting the Europa League trophy be the perfect way to bow out?

RB: Diogo Dalot - The hype over Dalot's performances has died down in recent weeks, even allowing Aaron Wan-Bissaka back into the first team picture.

CB: Harry Maguire - A staple of Manchester United's Europa League campaign, club captain Maguire is likely to line up on the right-side of central defence.

CB: Victor Lindelof - The Swede has overcome a recent illness and could be ushered into the starting lineup to allow Ten Hag to also rest Lisandro Martinez.

LB: Tyrell Malacia - Remember when Malacia's signing was meant to signal the end of Luke Shaw's days as a regular starter? Hasn't quite gone to plan, that.

DM: Scott McTominay - Casemiro may be banned from domestic games for four matches, but can Ten Hag can run the risk of a booking here ruling him out of the first leg of a potential Europa League quarter-final? Potentially not from the start, no.

CM: Fred - Is seemingly absolutely brilliant or an absolute bystander - quite the rollercoaster for United's supporters and likely Fred himself.

CM: Bruno Fernandes - Another player just a caution away from a one-match Europa League ban is Bruno Fernandes, who has a habit of getting on the wrong side of officials. An hour's outing may be all that's necessary to ensure United's progress.

RW: Antony - Expectations of Antony were perhaps overly elevated because of his extortionate transfer fee, but there's no doubting that we've seen enough potential in his displays to suggest United are onto something special.

CF: Wout Weghorst - If ever there was a time for Wout Weghorst to continue up front, it's now. Rest Marcus Rashford and rest him for as long as you can, Erik.

LW: Jadon Sancho - Still finding his way back into things after being reintegrated into United's starting XI. A goal here and a strong performance would do wonders for Sancho's confidence.
