Crystal Palace will demand a fee in excess of £50m to part ways with Manchester United and Liverpool target Marc Guehi, a report has claimed.

It was reported last month that the two Premier League giants had expressed an interest in landing Guehi, who is approaching the final two years of his contract and is not expected to sign an extension at Selhurst Park.

Aware of the interest in the 23-year-old, Palace have begun searching for alternatives, with The Telegraph stating they are already lining up targets as they prepare to cash in on the centre-back.

Palace will demand a fee of over £50m to part ways with Guehi, who could become the club's record sale if he eclipses the £50m raised from Aaron Wan-Bissaka's move to Manchester United in the summer of 2019.

The Eagles paid £18m to sign Guehi from Chelsea in 2021 and have watched the defender blossom into an England regular, with his impressive form catching the eye of a number of the Premier League's top sides.

Chelsea have been tipped to re-sign their academy graduate but Liverpool are showing more interest, while United could join the race if their new recruitment department decides to authorise a move.

United are looking to hire Dan Ashworth as a new sporting director and the 52-year-old, who has been placed on gardening leave by Newcastle United after asking to leave, has previously shown interest in Guehi.

New Palace manager Oliver Glasner faces a hectic summer which could see the Premier League's elite lodge bids for his top talents.

Alongside Guehi, 90min understands United are keen on winger Michael Olise, while Ebere Eze is another on the radar of a number of clubs.
