Oh dear, Manchester United. It appears to have happened again.

The pressure ramped up on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Saturday after his side slumped to a 4-2 defeat against Leicester at the King Power Stadium.

Their display was chaotic, loose and disappointing - which has been the flavour(s) of the month in Manchester for some time.

Before the game had even kicked off we were already treated to a bit of drama when Harry Maguire was named in the United starting lineup - despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer all but ruling him out ahead of his Leicester return.

Social media could not believe it, and it was hard not to feel sympathy for the spurned Eric Bailly...

There was an equally important return for Leicester too, with Jonny Evans coming back into the fold following a back injury and an illness.

Leicester started the game strongly, causing United's patched-together backline plenty of problems.

However, it would be the visitors who took the lead against the run of play, thanks to a ridiculous strike from Mason Greenwood.

Picking the ball up on the right-hand side, he burst inside and unleashed an unstoppable strike from outside the box that hit the post on its way in.

What. A. Hit.

On the half hour mark we then got a lovely dose of narrative when a horrific Maguire mistake allowed Youri Tielemans to deservedly draw Leicester level - in audacious fashion.

It was an incredible strike, not that the United captain will want reminding about it anytime soon...

The second half was a bitty affair, but things started to heat up as we approached full time.

First, Tielemans went agonisingly close to a second goal, as his thundering effort was tipped onto the post by David de Gea.

Then Cristiano Ronaldo seemingly spurned a golden opportunity, only for the offside flag to spare his blushes.

Eventually Leicester did poke their noses in front when Caglar Soyuncu got lucky in the box and tapped home from a yard out.

What seemed like seconds later - it was actually four minutes hence - there was another flashpoint.

Marcus Rashford had only been on the pitch for a few moments before he lifted the ball over Kasper Schmeichel to draw United level.

Not a bad way to make your comeback.

What a shame Jamie Vardy has to spoil it by restoring Leicester's advantage a few (actual) seconds after...

Just when we thought the drama was over for one game, Patson Daka - who has waited so patiently for his chance this season - grabbed his first ever Leicester goal to confirm his side's victory.

After the dust had settled, an all too familiar hashtag resurfaced, with many United fans not happy with another stodgy display.

Will this be the death knell for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer? Almost certainly not. However, this was a really worrying display from United, who have now won one of their last five games in all competitions.
