Manchester City and Chelsea meet on Sunday for a place in the Women's FA Cup final at Wembley, which is the penultimate stage of last season's delayed competition.

Chelsea have started the season as you might expected, bouncing back well from a surprise opening day defeat to Arsenal with four WSL wins on the spin.

Manchester City, on the other hand, have been in a bit of tailspin early on. They have been uncharacteristically losing games after being ravaged by injuries to key players.

This is everything you need to know about the game this weekend...

Summer signings Vicky Losada and Hayley Raso are both in contention to return, which represents a potentially significant boost for City.

However, Alanna Kennedy and Ruby Mace are both cup-tied, having already played in the earlier rounds of the competition for other clubs. That only adds to severe defensive shortages.

Steph Houghton, Lucy Bronze, Ellie Roebuck and Karen Bardsley remain sidelined.

Manchester City and Chelsea played out a tense 2-2 draw at the Academy Stadium in the closing stages of last season, effectively serving as a WSL title decider and proving the latter's final test before lifting the trophy.

Chelsea had previously prevailed in extra-time in a Continental Cup knockout in January, having also been victorious against at home in the league earlier in the campaign.

City last won this fixture in April 2019, which also happened to be an FA Cup semi-final.

Man City vs Chelsea score prediction

Manchester City have struggled this season, largely because of injuries. They still have major issues in defence, patching up with square pegs in round holes at the back, and have already been slaughtered by a rampant Arsenal in recent weeks.

It is difficult to imagine Chelsea failing to take advantage of those obvious weaknesses, especially with the world class quality they possess in attack. City won't have a chance to get a foothold.

Prediction: Man City 0-3 Chelsea
